Hi, I'm Caro
I’m Caro Rodriguez, short for Janneth Carolina Rodriguez Bello. I’m a Holistic Therapist, Channeler, and the author of Zoe’s Tree, an illustrated children’s story about self-love and self-care. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and have lived in Miami, Florida, for over 21 years.
My journey
My quest to help others began with the idea that if I became an eye doctor, I could improve people’s vision by giving them the right prescription. Years later I realized that better vision doesn’t come from a new pair of glasses, but from expanding one’s consciousness.
As a Biology student, I had the opportunity to travel to the Peruvian Amazon and research visual health and blindness prevention in three indigenous communities. I worked day and night with shamans who taught me their perspectives on life and their approaches to healing. That experience changed the course of my life and made me question a lot of things in the years that followed.
After I earned my bachelor’s in Biology, my health began to decline. I made constant visits to the ER, urgent care, gastroenterologists and chiropractors, which led to endless medical bills and only temporary relief for some of my symptoms. What I didn’t realize was that my body was trying to get my attention on matters I could not see.
After my master’s in Communications at FIU, I realized that even though I had greatly improved how I communicated with others, I still could not communicate with myself. During that program I also studied Art Direction, and found in art a tool for self-expression and personal change.
As I began my own healing journey, I started communicating with myself through self-compassion, self-love and forgiveness, and looking at my life through a different lens. I came to firmly believe that we are not destined to be prisoners of our past experiences, thoughts or emotions. The shamans’ lessons started to make sense, and new mentors, experiences and people began to align with me.
I became a certified SAAMA Therapist and started integrating everything I had learned. I expanded my knowledge of human biology, quantum physics, homeopathy, biogenetics, biodecoding, intuitive healing, meditation, shadow work, yoga, Reiki, the Akashic Records, inner child healing, transgenerational healing and essential oil therapy, among other modalities. Soon enough I was supporting others who, like me, were ready to begin their own healing process.
Looking back, I understand that every experience and every hard decision was necessary to help me find my true calling. My hope is that my sessions help my clients look at their lives through a different lens and find the clarity and freedom they need to live a fulfilling, purposeful life.
Today I have the privilege of guiding hundreds of clients in different parts of America and Europe in their pursuit of well-being, through virtual and in-person sessions, workshops and retreats.
